This was a minor Remodel in SW Portland. We took the cabinets to the ceiling. The cabinets are White Painted Maple Shaker style. We installed a full height Subway tile back splash. We made the cabinets as efficient as possible by using, roll out drawers-tile out trays-vertical dividers above the Refer. The drawer glides are full extension undermount. The Counter top is Granite with a Leathered Finish, with a undermount "Granite" sink! After the Remodel Before the Remodel
This is a kitchen we just finished remodeling in time for Thanksgiving 2014. We took the cabinets all of the way to the ceiling with a simple crown molding. The cabinets are Raised Panel Maple with a Natural Finish. They also have Matching Drawer fronts. (this is when the drawer front is ordered to match the door, not just be slab). This is a kitchen remodel we did in inner N.E. Portland. We removed soffits, removed one of the doors (the door l/h of the range went away) that is where we put the Refer and the Tall Wine rack. We added a arched opening in the kitchen into a Sun Room. (the customer loves this!) They said "Now we love to use this room because of the access to the kitchen!" This was a Large Kitchen Remodel job in Gresham. We re-designed the kitchen, took out the walk in pantry and made the kitchen bigger. The oven, pantry and refrigerator are where the walk in pantry was before. This really increased the size of the kitchen and made room for a really nice big island. Note the back of the island has a radius and the use of Legs as a decorative touch!
