Key Questions to ask
Please review the links on the left and when you choose a kitchen remodeler, be sure to ask the following key questions
Is the company a licensed general contractor or do they “work with” contractors for installation?
A company that hires an outside general contractor or says they “work with” a contractor to install your kitchen does not have direct control over ( or responsibility for ) the construction phase of your project. If a problem arises, the kitchen remodeler and the contractor can each blame the other, leaving you to bear the unexpected costs or inconveniences. Kitchen Concepts NW, LLC is a licensed general contractor. The company you sign a contract with is the one completely responsible for your job.
Can the company provide an extensive list of past clients for you to use as references?
A reputable kitchen remodeler welcomes the opportunity for you to talk to previous customers for the best possible evidence of the quality of his work. Kitchen Concepts NW, LLC provides every prospective customer with a list of over twenty recent customers, including phone numbers and addresses. We encourage you to talk with others who have used our services.
Does the company offer design services, layout expertise and innovative solutions for design problems? Do they take responsibility for measurements, or does the company ask to work from your plans, giving you full responsibility for accuracy and function?
By supplying your own plans or purchasing the cabinets separately, you accept risk that if the wrong cabinets are shipped, or the measurements are inaccurate, you will have to bear the cost.
